Alexa Trontz, PT, DPT, standing on a New York City street

My name is Alexa Trontz, and I am a physical therapist based in New York City. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware and my Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College.

Sports and fitness have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing soccer through college and now spend much of my time strength training and running. That background plays a big role in why I’m passionate about helping others stay active, healthy, and performing at their best.

Through AT Performance, my goal is to bridge the gap between traditional physical therapy and performance training. I believe rehabilitation should not only help people recover from injury, but also build the strength, movement quality, and resilience needed to return to activity with confidence and perform at a high level.
